Institute of Physiotherapy - Hospital Facilities and Skill Development
The Vydehi Institute of Physiotherapy is dedicated to academic excellence, clinical competency, and research innovation in the field of rehabilitation sciences. The institute t provides a comprehensive learning environment supported by experienced faculty, state- of-the-art infrastructure, and extensive clinical exposure, enabling students to develop professional skills with competence, ethics, and compassion.
Clinical training forms a core component of the curriculum. Students receive hands-on training through the Physiotherapy Department of Vydehi Hospital, a multi-specialty tertiary care teaching hospital. This hospital-based exposure enables students to integrate theoretical knowledge with practical application in patient assessment, treatment planning, and rehabilitation across various specialties.
To further enhance skill development, students undergo structured training at the Vydehi Advanced Simulation Academy (VASA). VASA provides simulation-based learning using advanced models and scenarios, allowing students to practice and refine clinical, procedural, and professional skills in a safe and controlled environment before direct patient interaction.
