ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Bachelor of Physiotherapy (B.PT)

1. Educational Qualification
• Candidate must have passed 10+2 / Senior Secondary Examination or equivalent from a recognized Board.
• Must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology).
• Minimum 50% aggregate marks in PCB.
• Minimum 40% aggregate marks in PCB for SC / ST / OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD).
• English is compulsory and must be passed.

2. NEET Requirement
• Candidate must have appeared in NEET (UG) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for the respective academic year.
• Admission shall be based on NEET merit/marks as per Government norms.
• The mandatory NEET (UG) requirement for B.PT admission is deferred until the academic year 2026–27 due to logistical challenges in NEET 2026. Therefore, B.PT admissions for 2026–27 will be based on 12th PCB marks merit.

3. Age Requirement
• Candidate must have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st December of the year of admission.

4. Medical Fitness
• Candidate must submit a Medical Fitness Certificate issued by a Registered Government Medical Officer.

5. Reservation
• Reservation of seats shall be applicable as per State Government / Central Government norms.
